A gift to an old friend (Kanyon) drawn and colored in Windows Paint and detailed in Adobe. I'm prone to using a lot of detail, but I like the "less is more" approach to this one. It reflects to the old cover coloring technique of the Sonic-Archie comics that I miss very much. Seeing as blue is a contrast to red, it has some dimension to it, and that's another thing I like about it
I'll probably get back to my usual method, just as soon as I find the software for the graphics tablet..... which has an important painting program on it....
Ahhh, good ol' Knuxie. Heh. Yes, somethings simple is good and this is good. Gotta love the dark BG. Blue is good with red a lot and ya just gotta love that grin.

You drew that in Paint?! Man... I don't know what to say about that!
I like the style you drew him in, good ole' Archie mixed with your own art style. The details you put on this (the lines on his socks, the small hint of his mucles) is fantastic, especially considering that none of this was drawn on paper by hand. You, my friend have a lot of talent with your computer programs!

I am totally in awe... of the background. I think it's more the mathematician in me, but the paneled look draws me into the art. The picture of Knux is good too - it would have to be, otherwise the background would have been all I would comment on ^^ - I like how in his figure you don't use a clear-cut black line to distinguish various parts of his body, using the graytone instead.

lol - guys I *drew* it in paint, but the detailing was done in adobe..... I'm not nearly talanted enough to get something to look like that in Windows P alone

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
