Because I'm not...and a lot of other people aren't either. Seriously, I draw the line at watching the ones that are tasteful and most artistic and if I can afford to I'll buy a figurine once and a while. I'm so not obsessed.

Someone whose majorly obsessed about anime; the kind of people that spend thousands of dollars on collectables, spend a million dollars for a one-of-a-kind autographed manga/figurine/anime/etc on ebay. They'll even try to live like an anime character =/

That's just hilarious, Emmychidna-san XD (Hope you don't mind me calling you that) And that's a good stamp. Though I myself consider myself an otaku (Too many shelves full of manga and plushies ^^; ) I do know people who hate being called Otaku. *Thumbs up*

I can't believe some people would call you an Otaku, You like anime and all, but dammit, you're sincere about liking it, you don't like it just because it's popular >.o
