So yeah, I don't see what the big deal is about fans pairing an official character (Like Knuckles, Sephiroth, Trunks, etc...) with a character they created. I got a few myself. Why do people complain about that? =/ |

There are some things I don't like about it though. The whole Mary-Sue thing for example. Or when a fan character hooks up with someone who already has a stable relationship with another official character.

As with anything, they can be done well. It just gets old when you see the same concept over and over again which is canon character with the "perfect" fan character.

I would only fuss if one went out of their way to annoy me with it. Otherwise, I don't care. Heck, I like some of them. XD
